There are two options when you have a pest in your home: call animal control or try to contain it by yourself
Angie says once you find the pest:
- Get to safety
- Call a professional
Questions to Ask the Professional:
- How their going to charge
- Do they include fixing the damage that the animal caused
- Help prep your house to prevent a re-occurrence
How to Know if Pets are in Your Home:
- Look for feces and holes
- Check pipes especially behind appliances
- Under deck
Keeping Animals Out:
- Check your roof and siding for warping or holes
- Install chimney cap and keep the flue closed when not in use
- Electronic pet door instead of traditional flap door
- Secure trash containers
- Trim tree limbs
- Fill gaps and cracks
