We can all agree with the statement that no veteran should have to face tough times.
We’re learning about an effort that can help those heroes who might be struggling right now. The event is called “Veterans Stand Down” and it’s taking place on Oct. 14 from 10 am-3 pm at American Legion Post 64 in Salisbury. For more information, call 410-742-1571.
The purpose of the stand down is to help the homeless veterans and their families who need help. They provide information for the veterans about housing, medical and whatever else they need. This event will help make connections between veterans and services they need.
