In today’s “What’s Appening” segment, we talk about the latest craze in the digital world – Pokemon Go.
Director of Digital Media, Ethan Holland joins us, as well as DelmarvaLife Director Alan Fox, who we’re dubbing a “Pokemon Go Pro.” Ethan and Alan explain the game and talk about how it has taken off in such a short amount of time.
Alan says the game uses the GPS on your phone and it detects if there are Pokemon near you. Then, you toss your Pokeball and catch the Pokemon.
Alan says he thinks the whole purpose of the game is to bring people together to socialize and share a common interest.
