First we sit down with a young lady who truly meets the definition an “overcomer”. Jimmy and Lisa sit down with eight-year-old, Lily Reckeweg, who has a long list of athletic accomplishments including being part of the Marine Corps Marathon, Nanticoke River Swim and Triathlon and the Iron Girl Marathon, all while living with Spina Bifida. She, along with Jill Fears, Eastern Shore Community Coordinator for Athletes Serving Athletes, both join us to share how the program is helping disabled athletes and their communities come together to all cross the finish line. Plus, hear what question Lily asked Lisa that almost had Lisa in tears!
Next, Lisa took to the road to tell us all about the summer activities heating up Pocomoke City, including ‘The Great Pocomoke Fair‘ starting on the first week of August.
