Heather Davis is a young woman, whose battle with cancer ended two years ago. She always had hopes and dreams to write a memoir, based on what she was going through. Sadly, she never got the chance. but today, her words live on — and it’s all thanks to her father, Jeremiah Davis, of Millsboro. We’ll sit down with him next, to hear how his book “The Starfish Chronicles” fulfills his daughter’s dream, and inspires others who are in the fight of their lives.

Kymra and Nykya are two young women have a message for adults they’re trying to spread. It’s a message about respect that will probably make you stop and think. We’ll sit down with them in just a bit, and hear how what they’re doing, has even inspired the white house to respond.

The Buzz about Bees is also in the spotlight today. Perhaps you’ve heard the bee population has taken a hit. We’ll speak with a local master beekeeper to find out what that means to you and hear more about the impact bees have on Delmarva. We think you might be surprised.

We’re learning about something called “Prescription Drug Take-back Day.” It’s happening all over Delmarva. The goal is to give all of us a safe place to dispose of our prescription medications, and the effort goes a long way in fighting the opioid crisis that’s devastating families all over Delmarva.
