Trey Kearns was born with a rare, life-threatening liver disease, so he and his family are raising awareness in an effort to help others around the world. Trey has progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis. It affects about one in every 50,000-100,000 live births worldwide. Trey’s mother, Tara, is co-leader of the advocacy group PFIC Network. We get to know Trey and find out what’s next for him.

Delaware State Police use it to enlighten parents and caregivers and prompt them to begin the tough discussions with their teens about the dangers of drugs.
Today’s Pet Connect features two cats and two dogs looking for a loving home. Two of the animals can be adopted from Brandywine Valley SPCA’s “Clear the Shelter” event tomorrow, where adoption fees are waived.
