There’s something about hearing bagpipes. When the tunes blasting out of them is Christmas music, well, that’s just extra special. Sean Guschke of St. Michaels has delighted folks in his town with his sounds throughout the month of December. We learn about his twofold purpose – to lift spirits and draw attention to certain spots in the community.

From events not happening, to not being able to see friends, and not seeing extended family over Christmas, it’s no secret that 2020 has been a rough year on the kids. And, they’ve had to spend most of 2020 learning on a computer. Difficult in and of itself and potentially harmful to the eyes. Katie sits down with our friends at Chesapeake Eye Center to find out what symptoms parents should be looking for and to get a few tips for preventing any problems.

We don’t have to tell you how far technology has come over the years. Did  you ever think you’d see the day when communicating via a screen would be the only way to keep in touch with family and friends during a global pandemic? Let’s take it up a notch – how about a robot helping with surgery? Yeah. We talk with Dr. Duran of TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, about the technology behind a robotic-arm assisted knee surgery.
