A favorite superhero is in the spotlight today: Batman! As a way to celebrate Batman’s 80th anniversary, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is opening a Batman 80th Anniversary Art Exhibition, and local artists are encouraged to submit their work for display. UMES Professor Bradley Hudson says UMES students, alumni and local high school artists can drop off their work at the Mosely Gallery from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on June 5th. The exhibit opens to the public on June 13th.

We’re on the Mid South Audio Stage where today’s musician probably can’t remember a time in her life without music. Rachel Bailey (who you might recognize from James M. Bennett‘s Rock ‘n Roll Revival or the Academy of Music Performance) has been performing on stage for years now. She’ll perform two beautiful songs today, one of them she composed herself, “Like I Should.”
