Olive Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded sharp natural cheddar cheese
- 1 1/4 cups Gold Medal Flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- About 36 pimiento-stuffed small olives, drained
Directions:
- Mix cheese and flour. Add butter and mix thoroughly.
- Mold 1 teaspoon dough around each olive; shape into ball. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
- Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Heat oven to 400 degrees and bake 15-20 minutes.

Most adults understand the end of life. Death is very hard to digest, but in many cases, we can process our feelings a lot better than children. The team at Coastal Hospice understands that, and that’s why they’ve launched a grief support program in local schools. Howard Travers is the Bereavement Care Manager at Coastal Hospice, and Cheryl Torpey is the Coordinator of a new program, which is an effort to tailor bereavement services to better meet the needs of grieving youth.

As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. day, we’ll hear about an event that draws thousands of people together, to keep the great leader’s legacy alive. Jesse t.
