There are a number of organizations across the region dedicated to making sure our veterans are living their best lives after their sacrificial service. Years ago, one Delaware man noted there were few organizations available to help active duty military members and their families undergoing financial hardship. That’s why Bill Hare formed “Delaware Military Support” in 2013. We learn more about the program from Hare and Vice Chair of the organization, Kay Sass.

Zach’s Healthy Breakfast
Peel and cube three medium-sized sweet potatoes. Boil them.
Pan fry chopped onion (any variety) and sweet potatoes to desired coating.
Poach egg – as many as you’d like to eat.
Mix arugula and one tbsp. olive oil.
Assemble sweet potatoes on plate. Sprinkle paprika, chili powder and garlic powder onto potatoes (optional and to your liking.)
Top with poached egg and arugula mixture. Enjoy!
