Today on DelmarvaLife:

Sure it’s the season for flip-flops and bare feet, but exposing those puppies may not always be such a great idea. We’re talking summer foot care today with the team from Thomas Podiatry & Associates, and problems that often arise this time of year. If you’re one of those people who choose fashion over functionality, find out why that could spell trouble.

Perhaps your plants and flowers have trouble thriving in the heat. Gardening Expert Ginny Rosenkranz, with the University of Maryland Extension Office, stops by with a few flowers and plants that will stay healthy in the hot weather. She’ll also tell us why it’s so important to have a variety of greenery if you want to attract hummingbirds.

Fresh flavors from the sea fill the Kirby and Holloway Kitchen this afternoon. Chef Donovan Mundy from Palm Beach Willies shows us how to make the seafood-filled “Willie Stew.” He’ll also show us his version of the classic soft-shelled crab sandwich.

We love meeting the people who make Delmarva so unique. We’re adding another one to the list today: Neurosurgeon Bothwell G. Lee, M.D., with Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He’s an avid athlete, a dedicated doctor, and a friendly face who was kind enough to let us turn on the cameras and get to know him a little better. DelmarvaLife’s Sydney Whitfield shares his story, in another round of “Driving with Docs.”
