It’s important to thank our veterans, and sometimes, it’s important to go the extra mile. Students from the Wicomico County School District recently went above and beyond to honor sixteen veterans from the Vietnam War. Each veteran now has a book about them. WBOC’s Heidi Werosta went to North Salisbury Elementary School to see what the students did to honor our heroes. Next month, the Convoy of Hope is making a stop in Dover to help transform people’s lives. It does that by visiting different communities across the nation and giving out free groceries, offering free health and dental screenings, taking free family portraits, and so much more. We learn more about why the Convoy of Hope is so important.
Kids at schools across Delmarva get to celebrate the end of the school year with field day. This weekend, you can participate in a field day for adults.
