The author of The Dark Side of Death, Scott T. Phillips, sits down with Jimmy today. Hear how Scott’s background in law enforcement helped to mold the book. The Dark Side of Death received honors at an Indie Book Award dinner held at the Harvard Club in 2014. The book has received rave reviews, and Scott’s fans will be happy to hear he’s currently working on a sequel. We’ll find out when it’s expected to be released.

We’re taking a “One Tank Trip” to Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes to show you all of the beauty it has to offer. And Lucky Sean, his drive is in a sweet ride courtesy of Hertrich Buick GMC of Seaford. Wait ’til you see!

The co-owner and chef with Vittles Food Truck stops by the DelmarvaLife kitchen. The food truck is just about a week old, but we have a feeling it has a long future ahead of it! The food will leave you begging for seconds! Today, we’re making Brie “My Honey” Grilled Cheese and “The Hat Trick.”

Brie My Honey

1) Heat cooking surface to 325 (medium heat)2) Butter sourdough bread3) Place bread in pan or on flat top4) Add 3.5 ounces of sliced brie5) Add 2 ounces of caramelized Gala Apple6) Add desired amount of prosciutto7) Drizzle with honey8) Cook until both sides are golden brown! Hat Trick Burger1) Start with 8 oz of ground beef divided equally into three small patties and season to liking3) Place three pattys on grill at 350° for 2 mins4) Flip and apply 1 slice of mozzarella cheese, one slice of Chesapeake Bay Dairy Farms Old Bay cheddar cheese and one slice of american cheese (one to each patty)5) Cook for two mins6) Stack three parties together7) Top with green leaf sliced tomato and red onion and bacon8) Serve on a brioche bun
