There are all sorts of waterfowl on Delmarva and for the past 46 years, there has been a festival to celebrate all things waterfowl. The 46th Annual Waterfowl Festival begins this Thursday, Nov. 10. Waterfowl Festival Carver Rich Smoker joins us in the studio to tell us all about the upcoming festival and Jimmy and Lisa try out carving a ducks head out of wood.

Our viewers enjoyed when we had Kelcie Mahr in the kitchen with her carrot dogs and chickpea tuna, so we invited her back! Today, we’re making Vegan BLT Pasta Salad. Instead of bacon, we’re using coconut chips.
Vegan BLT Pasta Salad:
1 bag of coconut chips3 tablespoons liquid smoke1 1/2 tablespoons pure maple extract1 chopped tomato1 small chopped onion1 head of romaine lettuce1 cup just mayo (add or subtract to your own liking)1 box of noodles (chickpea, lentil, etc.)
1. Set the oven for 350 degrees.2. Place coconut chips in a pan with liquid smoke and pure maple extract.3. Bake for 12-14 minutes4. Boil your noodles.5. Cook the noodles for 8-10 minutes and strain.6. Chop lettuce, tomato and onion and place in a bowl.7. Mix in your noodles and add just mayo.8. Add your coconut chips.9. Mix and enjoy!
