The 5th annual Gabby Gobble 5k & Kiddie Fun Run takes place on Thanksgiving morning. Gabby Vogel’s brave fight with cancer ended in 2011, and her parents wanted to continue to help other children battling the disease. The Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. at Irish Eyes in Lewes. The 5k race kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race benefit the Get Well Gabby Foundation.
It was just about this time of year two years ago when a little boy named Enzo sent us the sweetest email, explaining how he was collecting pajamas for kids who needed the warmth during the cold winter months.
