When dozens of neglected horses were discovered on a Wicomico County Farm, horse lovers from far and wide stepped up to help out. Few more than the folks who run Tri-State Equine Adoption & Rescue. We’re getting an update on some of those horses and others that have been rescued and rehabbed.
Writers are coming together this weekend to hear award-winning author Michele Chynoweth at a conference in Georgetown – but not before she stops by Historic Studio D. We’ll learn a little bit about her, including how she went from a local newspaper reporter to inspirational novelist.
We have guests from the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Michael Zeigler, Deputy Secretary of Operations for the Department, along with Correctional Officer Kevon Willis is here to talk about how their Department is offering several opportunities to become a correctional officer.
