The Final Score High School Football Showdown is underway, but it’s not too late to enter and make your picks. How well do you know your high school football? Test your gridiron skills this fall in The Final Score High School Football Showdown. Every week for 10 weeks. you have the chance to participate in a multiple choice challenge by submitting your winning team predictions for upcoming games. Regardless of where you live on Delmarva, you can pick your local area of expertise by choosing to play in either the Bayside and/or Henlopen Conference. Picks have to be made one hour before each games time and most games are on Friday nights. Each correct prediction accumulates points and the highest scoring player will have the chance to win a trophy. The world’s largest truck convoy fundraising event benefiting the Special Olympics is Sept. 24 with trucks departing from the Delaware State Fair grounds. The Delmarva Folk Festival is Sept. 23 and Sept. 24 near Hartly. Patty Field, children’s activity director, and Storm Longhauser, committee chair of the Delmarva Folk Festival, stopped by the studio to give us a visual idea of what’s going on this weekend.
