On Friday, we told you the story of a stolen wallet. Miles Moffit, owner of Southside Jiu Jitsu, was renovating the old Acme in the Twilley Shopping Center when he came across an old wallet in the ceiling. Miles posted on Facebook about the wallet in hopes of finding the owner, and sure enough, he did. Sarah’s sister-in-law, Susan, saw the post and got the wheels rolling on reuniting the wallet with Sarah. Today at 5 pm, Miles returns the wallet to Sarah Haines on the DelmarvaLife couches. Be sure to tune in and see Sarah’s reaction when she opens the wallet for the first time in nearly thirty years.
Sydney Whitfield recently took a flight class with Trident Aircraft in Easton. Sydney learns that many students at the school are looking to get their start as a pilot and others are middle-aged men who have wanted to learn how to fly since they were little boys. Sydney went up in a plane with Lead Flight Instructor, Colin Fisher, and after a few minutes of being in the air, he let Sydney take control.
The Run, White and Blue 5K event is coming up on Thursday, Sept. 7 at Delaware Tech Owens Campus in Georgetown. Registration begins at 5 pm and the race starts at 6 pm. All proceeds benefit Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus Scholarships for veterans and first responders. Read more about the event here.

Flooding from Hurricane Harvey has displaced tens of thousands of people in the Houston and surrounding area. The widespread devastation caused by Harvey has prompted Sherwood Automotive’s Rising Tide program to ask you to help us provide financial donations for the youngest victims of this historic storm.
