Things are heating up in the DelmarvaLife kitchen with Joe's LaRoma and Mamma Mia Monday as we learn how to make pork sambuca.
It is a thinly pounded piece of pork and lightly breaded. You pan fry the pork in olive oil and minced garlic, once you flip you add in sauteed onions, crushed red peppers, fresh parsley, and  whole peeled tomatoes. Once the pork is 75% cooked, you add in a shot of sambuca, light the pan, and step back. Once the flame is out, add in a small amount of heavy cream to finish the sauce and top the pork on the plate. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
