GREENSBORO, Md.- The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office isĀ investigating a fire that destroyed a detached garage in Caroline County early Tuesday morning.
According to fire officials, a passerby reported the fire at 12:23 a.m. at the two-car garage located at 517 W. Sunset Ave. in Greensboro.
Firefighters from the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company responded and had the fire under control in about 30 minutes.
Damage to the structure and its contents is estimated to be $70,000.
