Second Arrest Made in June Armed Robbery of Westover Dollar General

WESTOVER, Md. - Maryland State Police announced Friday the arrest of the second suspect wanted in an armed robbery that happened over the summer.

According to MSP, police responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Dollar General on Crisfield Highway in Westover on June 30. Police said a masked person walked into the store demanding money from the cash registers. Police also said one employee was hit in the head with the end of a pistol. The suspect then took off in a parked car just a short distance away.

The first suspect, Anthony Lowell Horsey, 29, of Westover, was arrested in July. Police said he is allegedly responsible for being a conspirator and for providing transportation to and from the armed robbery. He has since been held without bond.

State police announced the arrest of Timothy Dwan Jarvis, 23, of Milford, Friday. Members of the Criminal Enforcement Division Lower Shore identified him as the masked gunman in October through their investigation. MSP said Delaware State Police arrested Jarvis on Oct. 19 on more than a dozen related charges.

CEDLS investigators extradited Timothy Jarvis to Maryland, where he was subsequently held without bond.
