SEAFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police says two people are facing multiple drug-related charges after they were stopped for a traffic violation Friday morning.

A trooper patrolling in the area of King Rd. and Old Furnace Rd. stopped a blue Chevy Envoy because the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.

While speaking to the driver, Randy H. Delano, 32 of Bridgeville and the passenger, Jessica N. Hudson, 31 of Seaford, the trooper says he saw drug paraphernalia in the front seat.

After searching Hudson, police say 83 individual bags of Heroin, packaged for sale along with $1000.00 cash in suspected drug proceeds was found inside her pants, according to police.

Officers say Delano who had originally told police there were no drugs on Hudson or inside the car, knew about the drugs and money Hudson was hiding.

Delaware State Police says Hudson was arraigned and committed to the Dolores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $3200.00 cash bail. Delano was arraigned and released on $2201 unsecured bail, according to officers.
