WBOC & WRDE Meteorologists Launching New Facebook Live Segment 'Weather Whys'

Stratus, cirrus and cumulus clouds, jet streams, cold and warm fronts, atmospheric and barometric pressure. We hear and see those terms all of the time. But what exactly do they all mean?

With Weather Whys, learn about weather and science from Delmarva's local experts: the meteorologists with WBOC and WRDE.

From cool science experiments to weather lessons for all ages from pre-K to grade 12 and above, beginning Monday, April 20, the meteorologists from WBOC and WRDE will bring you online weather lessons in the comfort of your home.

Throughout the week, join meteorologists Paul Williams, Mike Lichniak, Heidi Werosta and Dan Satterfield for educational videos and online chats. They'll show you how they forecast the weather, explain the science behind it and let you know what it means for you.

Go to the WBOC Weather Facebook page weekdays for Weather Whys with the WBOC and WRDE weather teams. If you have a weather- or science-related topic you would like them to consider for discussion email them at meteorologists@wboc.com.
