Chopper 16 Pilot
Kody Getkin joined the WBOC News team as Chopper 16's pilot in March of 2024.
Kody is from Danville, Pennsylvania. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology from St. Andrews University, but fell in love with flying and decided to pursue it as a career. He is a certified flight instructor, and has helped many students achieve their dream of becoming a pilot at Hi-Tech Helicopters in Tobyhanna, PA.
Kody is an avid outdoorsman. In his free time he enjoys golfing, working out, and spending time with his family - especially his little peanut, Bria.
