Todd Karli is a managing editor and broadcast journalist with WBOC News.

Todd came to the Delmarva Peninsula in 2016 from Bakersfield, California, in 2016 where he was the news director and anchor for 12 years at KERO-TV.

Prior to that dual role, Todd was a news anchor and reporter at KERO, and sports anchor/reporter.

One of Todd's most cherished achievements while at KERO was helping to raise nearly $14 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, through the "Dream Home" campaign.

Todd began his broadcasting career as a sports play-by-play announcer, with stops in Silver City, New Mexico, Huntsville, Alabama, Reno, Nevada, and Bakersfield.

The highlight of his play-by-play tenure was announcing games for Cal State University, Bakersfield's undefeated basketball team that captured the NCAA Division II national championship.

Todd is a native of San Pedro, California, a coastal suburb of Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California (FIGHT ON!) with a degree in sports information, and also has an MBA from Cal State University, Bakersfield.

Todd's family includes his wife Jackie, with whom he co-anchored at KERO in Bakersfield, and son Jack and daughter Anika.

His interest and hobbies include golf, bike riding, sports, anything that involves the ocean, reading historical biographies, and politics. He also plays guitar, kind of.
