DOVER, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a reported sexual assault with a weapon at a construction site in Dover on Tuesday.

Investigators say they were called to a construction site on Lacey Lane in the Noble Pond community on Aug. 18, 2026 just before 10 a.m. on reports of a sexual assault. There, police say they learned an unknown suspect wearing a mask had approached a male victim at the site around 8 a.m. The suspect then reportedly threatened the victim with a knife before sexually assaulting him and fleeing towards the nearby woods.

DSP says they searched the area of Pearsons Corner Road and Seven Hickories Road but were unable to find him. 

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black mask, tan or khaki pants, a black shirt, and gloves. Delaware State Police continue their investigation and ask anyone with information to call them at 302-698-8444.
