QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, Md.– Officials announced a weekly closure will go into effect at US 50 and MD 662 starting July 12.
The County says MD 662 (Wye Mills Road) will close at US 50 (Ocean Gateway) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each Sunday through Sept. 6 and on Monday, Sept. 7.
Officials say the closure aims to reduce crashes and ensure access for emergency vehicles during peak congestion periods.
