SHOOTING INVESTIGATION GRAPHIC

CRISFIELD, MD - Maryland State Police are investigating a Friday evening homicide in Somerset County and are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect.

Just before 5 p.m. on April 25, officers from the Crisfield Police Department responded to the area outside of an apartment in the Somers Cove neighborhood in Crisfield for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was identified as Evan Neal, 20, of Crisfield, Maryland. Neal died at the scene.

On Saturday morning, police asked for the public's assistance in locating Tyren Lee Ivey, 28, of Crisfield. Ivey is wanted on first-degree murder charges in relation to the shooting, according to Maryland State Police.

Police say Ivey is considered armed and dangerous and ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 443-260-3700 or the Crisfield Police Department at 410-968-1323.
