QUANTICO, Md. – The Wicomico County Executive's Office announced the closure of the Whitehaven Ferry today and tomorrow for repairs.
The vessel, also known as the lower ferry, is projected to be reopened and operating on Sunday.
The nearest Wicomico River crossing, the Upper Ferry approximately 11 miles northeast in Salisbury, will operate during its normal hours at 5420 N. Upperferry Road.
