Coastal Flood Advisory from SUN 9:00 PM EDT until MON 6:00 AM EDT

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS
EVENING TO 6 AM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways.

* WHERE...Dorchester, Wicomico and Somerset Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable
locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low
threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water
above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads
and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns
near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Audrey Silverthorne Holland, 99, of Greenbackville, passed away on April 1, 2024. Born at home in Sign Post, Virginia, on November 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Russell Silverthorne Sr. and Enola Disharoon Silverthorne. She was a homemaker and helped her husband for 76 years, Franklin Allen Holland, on their farm.
