Charles Thomas Fooks, Sr., 96, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Born on January 13, 1930, he was the son of Samuel Lee and Myrtle Fooks. Charles was predeceased by his wife Lucille and son Charles, Jr., as well as siblings; Edward, Mildred, James, and George. He is survived by his daughters, Faith Fooks and Cynthia (Daniel) Burt; grandchildren Philip (Jillian) Townsend, Mark (Jennifer) Townsend, Christie (Iliyan) Krasteva, Zachary (Sarah) Burt, Garrett (Margaret) Fooks, and Kelsey Fooks; great-grandchildren Mason, Austin, Jackson, Hallie, Savannah, Lily, Nikolas, Caison, Wyatt, Nathan, Levi, and Kevin; his sisters, Ruth Banks and Jean Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
