With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Dianne Elizabeth DePasquale, of Hebron, Maryland, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 5, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
Born in New York City to the late Howard Taylor and Anne Taylor (Kojza), Dianne's life was a beautiful example of unconditional love, strength, and selfless devotion. She pursued cosmetology before meeting the love of her life, Thomas DePasquale. The two fell deeply in love, eloped, and celebrated with a month-long honeymoon, beginning a remarkable love story that spanned 54 beautiful years. Their marriage was one filled with unwavering commitment, laughter, and a love that inspired everyone fortunate enough to witness it.
While Dianne wore many titles throughout her life, the ones she cherished most were wife, mother, Nana, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world and the greatest joy of her life. She poured every ounce of her heart into those she loved, always putting their needs before her own.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Dianne knew they had found a safe place. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting smell of something delicious cooking. No one ever left her house hungry, unloved, or without a hug. She had a rare gift of making everyone feel like family, offering comfort, kindness, and unconditional love to all who crossed her path.
Dianne will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, infectious sense of humor, quirky personality, incredible resilience, and unmatched strength. Even through life's greatest challenges, she faced each day with courage and grace. She found happiness in the simple moments, especially those spent surrounded by the people she loved most.
Christmas held a special place in Dianne's heart. She transformed her home into a magical wonderland each year, earning the affectionate titles of "The Christmas Lady" and "The Christmas House." The joy she created during the holiday season became treasured memories that her family will carry forever.
She leaves behind the love of her life and devoted husband, Thomas DePasquale; her beloved children, Thomas (Tommy) Joseph DePasquale and his wife, Tiffany; Chuck Strahm; Laura Maria DePasquale-Blanco and her husband, Joey; and Taylor Anne DePasquale and her husband, Eric. She was a cherished sister to Howard J. Taylor.
Her greatest legacy lives on through her treasured grandchildren: Joseph, Greyson, Gia, Carter, Giada, Arianna, Ezra, Thomas, and Caitlyn, who were the light of her life. She was also blessed with two adored great-grandchildren, Brantlee and Aurora, as well as her loving nieces, Kelcey, Kristan, and Cheryl.
Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Howard and Anne Taylor, and her treasured companions, LaCie and Luna, who undoubtedly greeted her with wagging tails.
Although our hearts are shattered by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that the incredible love Dianne gave so freely will live on in every life she touched. She taught us what it meant to love without limits, to care without expectation, and to make every person feel valued.
She was the heart of our family, our safe place, and our greatest blessing. There will never be another like her, and she will be deeply loved, forever missed, and remembered always.
