Donald Lee Hales, 86, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at home. Born on February 27, 1939, he was the son of Reuben and Ethel Hales. Donald was predeceased by his wife Deitra Hales and siblings: Kathryn, Kenneth, Lester, Shirley and Earl. He is survived by his close companion, Connie Holland, first wife Brenda Hales and children Kimberly (Martin) Harrison, Karen (Joe) Houtman, and Will (Candice) Hales, as well as stepdaughter Tanya (Adam) Westhoff. He was blessed with many grandchildren Adam (Bailey) Harrison, Mallory (Aaron) Roby, Matthew Houtman, Conner Houtman, Landry Hales, Ledger Hales, Sydney Shannon and Brooklin Westhoff.
