Helen Brautnick, age 91, of Salisbury, Maryland died on February 23, 2026, in Salisbury. She was born on October 2, 1934, on Huffman Mountain in Onego, West Virginia to the late Michael and Edith Mae (Huffman) Brautnick. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Frostburg State University (formally Frostburg State Teachers College) in Frostburg, Maryland. She taught for several years at Beall High School in Frostburg.
