rene Julia Askland, peacefully departed this life on April 10, 2023, in Salisbury, MD. Born May 11, 1924 in Bronx, NY, she is the daughter of William and Irene Hartmann, she later moved and settled in Hempstead Long Island, NY. She attended and graduated from Hempstead High School.
