James Lee Wanex, 82, of Ellicott City, formerly of Salisbury, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at Encore at Turf Valley in Ellicott City. Born September 21, 1943, he was the son of the late John and Agnes (Hurley) Wanex, Sr. James is survived by his brother David (Joan), his valued friend Connie Spencer and his nephew, John Wanex III. He was predeceased by his loving wife Carolyn and their daughter Lori Ann McCoy and brother John Wanex Jr.
