James Robert Moore, Jr., lovingly known as Rocky, aged 65, of Salisbury, MD, passed away on August 16, 2026. Born on October 27, 1960, in Washington, DC, James was the son of the late James Robert Moore, Sr. and Janet Moore. 

James was a dedicated and hardworking individual who made a lasting impact on the lives of those around him. He worked as a Shift Supervisor of the grain line in the agriculture industry at Perdue, where he was employed since September 7, 1983. Over the years, he developed strong friendships with many of his colleagues. 

James is survived by his loving wife, Cherry Moore; his step-daughter, Ashley Beauchamp; brothers, Greg Moore (Stephanie) and Steve Moore (Kimberly); and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane. Known for his loving, considerate, and selfless nature, James was a devoted family man, a caring father and uncle who delighted in spending quality time with his loved ones. 

In addition to his commitment to family, James had a passion for music, travel, and sports. Every morning he would sing as he got up and ready for the day. He was a fan of the Washington Commanders football team and enjoyed supporting the Baltimore Orioles and the Delmarva Shorebirds. His sense of humor and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
