Joan Elizabeth Peters LaRue, a beacon of love, generosity, and faith, completed her earthly journey on March 18, 2025, surrounded by the warmth of her family at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD-the same town where her story began on January 17, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Frank Peters and Isabelle Gale (Bailey) and was jointly raised by the late Dorothy and Otis Strozier.
