Leah L. Van Gelder, Ed.D., 72, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in TidalHealth – Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Born October 6, 1952, in Arlington, VA, she was the daughter of the late Donald N. and Mary Louise (Smith) Ruth. She and her husband, Richard H. “Dick” Van Gelder celebrated 50 years of marriage on November 23, 2024.
