Mark Kenneth Holland, known to many simply as Mark, passed away on July 10, 2026, in Pocomoke, Maryland, at the age of 63.
Mark was born on July 9, 1963, in Salisbury, Maryland, and he carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and quiet strength throughout his life. He was the kind of man who could be counted on, and those who knew him will remember his steady presence, his easygoing nature, and the genuine care he showed to the people around him. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends, who will cherish the many memories they shared with him.
Mark attended Pocomoke High School, where he began building the foundation for a life marked by dedication and perseverance. After school, he devoted much of his working life to his career as a truck driver for Sysco, where he served faithfully for 25 years. He took great pride in his work and in doing his part to provide for his family. In 2019, he retired after a long and respected career, leaving behind a record of dependability and commitment that reflected the best of who he was.
Outside of work, Mark found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed listening to music, watching football and baseball, and spending time with his granddaughter, Theodora Driscoll, who brought him great happiness. These moments were especially meaningful to him, and they reflected the warmth and devotion he carried into his family life. Whether he was enjoying a favorite song, following a game, or sharing time with loved ones, Mark appreciated the comfort and connection those experiences brought.
Mark is survived by his children, Taylor Holland and JoEllen Holland; his son-in-law, Kevin Driscoll; and his granddaughter, Theodora Driscoll. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah Enck; his half-brother, Christopher Keaser; and his half-sister, Shirley Keaser. He will be remembered with love by his family, who will continue to honor his memory through the stories they share and the lives he touched.
Those who knew Mark will remember a man who valued family, worked hard, and lived with sincerity. He had a way of making others feel at ease, and his presence brought comfort to those around him. His life was a testament to the importance of showing up, doing one's best, and appreciating the time spent with loved ones. Though his passing was sudden and his cause of death remains pending, the legacy he leaves behind is one of devotion, resilience, and love.
Mark Kenneth Holland will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His family takes comfort in knowing that his life was meaningful, his work was honorable, and his memory will remain a lasting source of love and reflection.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 24, 2026, at Holloway Funeral Home, 107 Vine St. Pocomoke City, MD 21851. A public visitation will be held starting at 9:00AM followed by the celebration of life.
