Mendel L. Heilig, 96, died Sunday, March 15 in Bay Harbor Post Acute Care, Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Marion I. and Minnie F. Levin Heilig. Mendel was raised in Salisbury where he attended public schools. He was the class speaker of his graduation Class of 1946.
