Phillip Howard Dotson, known to friends and family as Phil, to his children as Dad, and to his grandchildren as Grandpa, passed away November 10, 2025 in Hebron, Maryland. Born on January 21, 1955 in Alexandria, Virginia his life was marked by love of family and appreciation of others, all of whom recipients of his kindness, manners, and attention. He had a zest for knowledge which he respectfully shared with others, a passion for music and car designs, interest in children for whom he performed magic penny tricks, and a quick-witted and sometimes odd sense of humor that everyone enjoyed. He had at least one subject appropriate joke for any occasion.
