Ronald "Ron" Knecht, 82, of Deal Island, MD (formerly of Lehigh Valley,PA), passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2026. He was the son of the late Irene Hinkle and Joseph Knecht. Ron was a very social man enjoying life to the fullest and willing to lend a hand to those who needed it. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman all his life. He often traveled to Colorado elk hunting and even went alligator hunting in Florida.
