Wayne King Christy, 81, of Pocomoke City, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026. He was born August 27, 1944, in Wilmington, Delaware. Wayne grew up in Pocomoke City and was raised by his grandmother, Cora King, and Aunt, Mae King West. He graduated from Pocomoke High School in 1962 and went on to build a long and steady career with the A&P grocery stores, where he worked for 38 years. Wayne was known for his strong work ethic, quick wit, and warm smile.
