Panama City, Florida - October 20, 2026 - PRESSADVANTAGE -
Hook'em Up Charters, a Panama City Beach-based charter company, is drawing attention to its private fishing charters designed for groups that want an entire vessel reserved exclusively for their party. The private charter service caters to corporate outings, bachelor parties, and large family reunions seeking a trip on the Gulf of Mexico without sharing the boat with strangers.
Hook'em Up private charters give organizers full use of a fishing vessel and crew for the duration of their trip, accommodating everything from small gatherings to groups of up to 20 passengers. The company operates a fleet that includes the 'Hooked Up' and the 'Game Changer,' both based at Captain Anderson Marina and serving the Panama City Beach and 30A areas.
The private charter format addresses a common request among larger parties, who often prefer a dedicated fishing experience when planning milestone celebrations or team events. By reserving the whole boat, groups can tailor their outing around their own schedule and the needs of their participants, whether those include first-time anglers, children, or seasoned fishermen.
"Many of the private charter groups that reach out are planning something special, like a reunion or a company event, and they want the boat to themselves," said Capt. B.J. Burkett, owner and operator of Hook'em Up Charters. "A private charter fishing trip lets the crew focus entirely on one group, which makes a real difference when there is a wide mix of experience levels aboard."
Hook'em Up Charters offers half-day, full-day, and multi-day options, allowing groups to select a charter fishing trip length that suits their plans. Hook'em Up Charters provides trolling trips, bottom fishing trips, and blue water trolling trips, along with shark fishing excursions and offshore experiences that take parties further into the Gulf of Mexico for deep-sea opportunities. Big game and reef tours round out the range of trips available to those booking a private vessel.
Fishing conditions in the waters off Panama City Beach draw visitors throughout much of the year, and the region remains a popular destination for both family trips and sport anglers. Hook'em Up Charters and its crew are familiar with local waters and target spots suited to the species each group hopes to pursue.
"Reserving a private fishing charter removes the uncertainty of being grouped with other parties," Burkett said. "For a corporate outing or a family reunion, that privacy and flexibility is often exactly what organizers are looking for when they plan a day on the water."
Hook'em Up Charters is owned and operated by Capt. B.J. Burkett, a third-generation fisherman. The company specializes in deep-sea fishing experiences in the Gulf of Mexico and provides charters suited to beginners and experienced anglers alike. Operating from Captain Anderson Marina, Hook'em Up Charters serves the Panama City Beach and 30A communities with private, crewed trips across a range of durations and fishing styles.
