Christ Community Church Announces Easter Services Across Five Kansas City Area Locations

KANSAS CITY, MO — Christ Community Church invites the Kansas City area community to celebrate Easter with special Holy Week services across its five locations in Brookside, Downtown Kansas City, Leawood, Olathe, and Shawnee.
Easter weekend begins with Good Friday services on April 3 at all five campuses, with service times varying by location. Maundy Thursday services will be held at select campuses on April 2. Easter Sunday services on April 5 will feature multiple service times at each location, with select services live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.
"We look forward to seeing you on Easter when we'll study Luke 24:1-35 and celebrate the risen Jesus," the church announced on its Easter page.
The Easter services will feature special music, readings, and inspiring messages focused on the resurrection. Children's programming will be available at most services, with details varying by campus. Communion will be offered to all Christ-followers during the Easter Sunday services, with gluten-free options available.
Christ Community's Easter services blend contemporary and traditional worship styles, featuring piano, acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass, horns, and vocalists leading in song. The church's teaching is expositional in style, based on passages of Scripture and centered on the gospel message.
