Ryan Kalisky of WareMatch Takes Home Baker Tilly Award at 2026 Montreal PROMIES

WareMatch, a 3PL marketplace, announced today that its CEO and co-founder Ryan Kalisky received the Baker Tilly Entrepreneurial Circle Award at the 2026 PROMIES, held April 16 in Montreal.
The PROMIES, organized by Federation CJA's ProMontreal Entrepreneurs (PME) program, recognizes business acumen, creativity, and community contribution among young entrepreneurs in Montreal's Jewish business community. Past recipients include founders of companies that have grown into recognized international brands. This year's ceremony also honored Jimmy Alexander and Stephen Bronfman for their roles in establishing the PME Fund 25 years ago.
Ryan Kalisky launched WareMatch in 2025 alongside Ben Toulch and Rahul Bains to solve a problem that has long existed on both sides of the 3PL market: shippers and brands can't easily find and compare providers, and 3PL operators have no straightforward way to market their individual facilities to businesses actively looking. WareMatch addresses both by giving each 3PL operator a dedicated facility-level listing that captures square footage, certifications, service capabilities, and availability, going well beyond what a generic company profile offers. From that listing, inbound quote requests flow directly to the operator through an intake form tied to the listing itself, managed through a centralized dashboard.
The result is that a 3PL with three facilities in different markets can market each one independently, with messaging and positioning that reflects what that location actually offers, rather than routing all inbound interest through a single point of contact or relying on brokers to represent them. For shippers, it means browsing real operational details and sending quote requests to the right facility from the start, rather than working through intermediaries.
Since launch, WareMatch has secured $2 million in seed funding from a round led by Fit Ventures and supported by international participants including Esanjo Capital (Dubai) and Farfill (UK), and recently closed a strategic investment from Warehouse Vendors, LLC.
"Over the past couple of years, Ben, Rahul, and I have put everything we have into WareMatch," said Kalisky. "We built in the dark for a long time before even family and friends really understood what we were working on and why we were doing it. And with the help of the entire WareMatch team, it's really cool to step back and see how far we've come."
