Minister Mandel Copeland wants to help those facing hardship this Christmas. After the devastating tornado outbreak in the heartland, Copeland says he knew he needed to help. Virginia State Police are investigating an alleged arson and homicide after man was found dead Saturday night. State police were called to the 6000 block of Lankford Hwy. around 9:30 p.m. after the New Church Fire department found the body of 62-year-old Edward Bruce Mears Jr. The home is near the Maryland state line, a similar incident had happened in Worcester County, Maryland.
