Spencer Bradley lives on Main Street in East New Market and for what he said is about four decades, he's had a Christmas Countdown sign posted outside of his home. Delaware State University announced it has set a record number of students enrolled this fall. The university said that in a continuation of the unrelenting growth trajectory that has seen the institution expand by 40% between 2009-2019, it has once again established multiple enrollment records during the fall 2021 semester, including the largest student body ever (5,649), surpassing its previous record of 5,054 in 2019.
A day to sing and preform for a Broadway actress is one students at The Salisbury School will not forget. Jennifer Hope Wills was raised in Ocean City and worked on Broadway, including the role of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. Wills hopes students not only listened to her voice, but also her message.
