Two Colorado college students remain missing on after leaving campus for a weekend trip up a nearly 14,000-foot peak and encountering a heavy snowstorm. Kaden Matsuda and Jackson Donlon, still missing on Wednesday, left Colorado Mountain College Leadville’s campus Friday. They planned to climb Ice Mountain, which requires technical climbing. About 60 search and rescue volunteers, aided by helicopters, drones, and dogs, are searching for them. A helicopter crew discovered a tent under the snow with their belongings, but the students were not found. Authorities expect poor weather beginning Friday that could limit aerial searches.
